This week I talk about why we feel angry and how you can manage your own temper with simple techniques. Also looking at what anger is, why we lose our temper at times more easily than others and how we can control this reaction with relaxation techniques like hypnotherapy or self hypnosis.
Anger and stress usually go hand in hand. Too many demands and not enough resources will eventually cause chronic stress which can leave you feeling like you’re on the edge ready to lose your temper at any point because you’re reacting to situations instead of responding.
We all have a point at which we will snap, become angry and lose our temper. This can be unwanted or irrational at times it might be the smallest of triggers that set you off which could become a problem if it affects your relationships with others like loved ones or co workers.

Irritable bowel syndrome the most common of functional bowel disorders. Some of the symptoms of IBS could be recurrent stomach and abdominal pain which can be mild or excruciating, diarrhoea or constipation or the urge to go to the toilet more frequently.
It’s always a good idea to speak to your doctor and not diagnose yourself as these symptoms can be associated with many different medical conditions so always speak to your GP or a health professional if you are experiencing these symptoms.
Hypnotherapy can be used in many different ways to help treat or manage IBS depending on your symptoms and the challenges they create for you.
Identifying and reducing anxieties you have around IBS and using deep relaxation techniques like hypnotherapy or self hypnosis will help to lower your stress levels and the discomfort you experience.
Specific pain management techniques can help cope with any discomfort you feel without the need for strong painkillers. You can’t avoid stress so learning to manage and cope with everyday challenges will help reduce or even eliminate the symptoms associated with IBS. You can learn to recognise the worries or fears that contribute to the symptoms and deal with them as they arise.
Podcast 7: Quick panic attack help. This is a slightly shorter episode with a different style of hypnotherapy audio designed to help those experiencing a panic attack now get past the peak of the anxiety, this was requested by a follower on facebook recently.
If you are experiencing a panic attack the hypnotherapy audio part starts at 7 minutes, you can listen to this as many times as you need to help reduce your symptoms. I will be revisiting panic attacks in a few weeks and will go into more detail about how hypnotherapy can help you overcome panic attacks. This is just a quick help for those who are familiar with panic attacks.

This is the second part of the two part podcast, last week we looked at how stress can affect female fertility. Some of the information will cross over but because biologically and physically we are different there will be a different approach with hypnotherapy.

Having hypnotherapy techniques you can use on a daily basis to manage daily stresses, along with larger life stresses will keep you in a better hormonal balance which is necessary for optimal fertility.
